Men's MinistryIntended for men of all ages, our purpose is to provide an opportunity for spiritual growth, fellowship, service and accountability. Men are encouraged to become Godly influences in their day-to-day world. The Men’s Ministry is comprised of several activities focused on a man’s relationship with God:
| Bible Studies | • small group Bible studies include time for social interaction • Bible study focused on subject relevant to modern living, and time for sharing & prayer • about 90 minutes in length • see Men's Small Groups page for details - resume Sept. 11, 2010 | | Breakfast Meetings | • Saturday morning breakfast meetings happen approximately twice a year
• “seeker friendly” in nature & feature keynote speaker on a Bible based topic
• include hot breakfast, time for social interaction, worship | | Sports Based Activities | • sports based activities such as ball hockey, softball & curling • focus on bringing a friend and having fun • ball hockey takes place at C4 every Monday night at 7 pm, September to June • softball takes place from May - September • curling happening twice this year, next Curling Bonspiel on Sat. Nov. 20 | | Weekend Retreats | • annual fall event in the fall • time of spiritual reflection, adventure & strong relationship building • Guys' Getaway Weekend 2010 at Joy Bible Camp in Bancroft, Fri. - Sun., Oct. 15 - 17 • this year's topic: Being Rooted • see photos of our 2009 retreat on our facebook page - search for "C4 Men"
