From Sunday morning Worship Services to activities for children and youth, seminars, Bible studies, small groups and service projects, there is something for everyone!  All programs, activities and special events are listed in our Calendar.  Details for each can be found in the bulletin each Sunday morning and in the Ministries section of our website.

One of C4's core values is, "We are all on a spiritual journey to maturity in Christ."  The community of C4 is here to help you move along in that journey. There are three major stages in one's walk with Christ:

Finding God

C4 is "A Safe Place to Find God." The journey begins with learning about God, the Bible, how someone can be assured of a future in heaven, and the relevance of God in daily life. There are several opportunities for you to learn at C4. We recognize the needs of the seeker are different from someone that has been involved in church for some time, so some ministries are designed specifically for "First Steps" while others are for everyone.

The programs listed in the Ministries page are designed to provide a non-threatening and safe place to find God.  Some, such as our Sunday morning worship service, are in the context of a large group.  Others, such as Alpha, are smaller groups which allow for more interactive discussion.  Courses taught through our Institute of Christian Learning also provide these opportunities.

Finding Others

In today's busy society, many of us find it difficult to find others with whom to truly connect. Connecting within a small group however, is essential for personal and spiritual growth. Small groups are a priority at C4.  We are increasingly becoming a church of small groups.

The ministries described in the Small Groups page are designed to help you connect with others and grow in your relationship with God. Get involved in one or more small groups.  See your journey to maturity in Christ move forward!

Following God

Following God involves serving others.  Serving seems to have a negative implication today.  Many people feel it is another way of saying "we helped you, now pay up!" Serving at Carruthers Creek is not about paying your dues; it's about expressing one's love and devotion to God. It's our gift back to Him! We can never pay God back for his gift of salvation, but it is natural for us to express our thanks.

C4 provides many opportunities to give something back to God. Many of these are through ministries in the local church itself.  The Serving Opportunities portion of our website describes many of the ministry positions at C4 and how to become involved.  We also help facilitate serving the community through our Regional Ministries, and the world through C4's International Ministries.
